Structures Congress 2014. April 3-5th in Boston, MA.

The Structures Congress 2014 is organized by the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). This year, the Structures Congress is held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA. There are over 120 technical sessions scheduled, with 1,200 attendees expected.

Ioanni (Yannis) Miaoulis, Ph.D., President and Director of the Boston Museum of Science will present the Opening Keynote presentation focusing on increasing education of engineering in the educational system. Tim Love, AIA, Utile Architecture and Planning will present the closing keynote on the structural challenges of Dense High-value Cities, presenting Boston as a case study to explore the issues structural engineers and architects face.

In addition, the Council of American Structural Engineers (CASE) will hold their Spring Risk Management Convocation, and the annual SEI Business meeting will take place. The Structures Congress is full of events and activities. We look forward to seeing you at this year's event.
