Steel connection load tables. Published by Schöck.

Need to quickly design a steel thermal break connection?

Schöck North America recently published steel thermal break connection load tables. These tables can be used to quickly determine connection layouts and module counts for W-shape (I-beam) and HSS (tubular) shapes of various depths. Minimum recommended connection end-plate thicknesses are also listed in the design tables.

Thermal break connections in W-sections from W6 (W150) to W18 (W460) can be quickly and efficiently designed in Imperial and Metric units using the tables. Also listed are connections for HSS sections from 4” (100mm) to 12” (300mm) in depth.

The tables allow engineers to reduce the design time for many typical steel connections. For thermal break connections that fall outside of the parameters shown, or for any design questions, please contact the Schöck engineering team for prompt, friendly assistance.
