Isokorb® Product Declaration. Contributing to LEED and DGNB.

The product declarations have been performed on Schöck Isokorb® type CM and Schöck Isokorb® type S. The results show that these two types of Schöck Isokorb® meet the criteria for adhesives and sealants and contribute towards LEED points according to the certification system LEED® 2009 New Construction and Major Renovations NC &CS.

Schöck Isokorb® demonstrates a product rating to fulfil the categories of Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ Credit 4.1) Adhesives and sealants, to earn 1 point, and Materials & Resources (MR Credit 4) Recycled Content, to earn 1-2 points.

The Schöck Isokorb® type S consists of 24.9% recycled material, while the Isokorb CM 20 consists of 65.4% recycled material.

The LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ is a voluntary, consensus-based standard to support and certify successful green building design, construction and operations.

The DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) certification analyses the product to the criteria of risks for the local environment as well as to the sustainable use of resources. Schöck Isokorb® type CM and Schöck Isokorb® type S fulfil the criteria "risk for the local environment" with 10 out of 10 points, which represents an excellent result.

The intention of the LEED and DGNB certification is to increase the value of buildings with certified products. In addition to that, the customer has a planning reliability in case of green building projects.
