We invite you to join us in Boston, MA at the Seaport World Trade Center for BuildingEnergy 14.

BuildingEnergy is where the sustainable build environment takes whole system thinking to another level.

The opening keynote session on March 5th will begin with EPA administrator Gina McCarthy, who will share insight on upcoming federal policies that will affect the building industry and renewable energy.

In addition, Amanda Sturgeon of the Living Future Institute will share her experiences as Program Director for the Living Building Challenge and provide a preview of what future sustainable design will encompass in the years to come.

Schӧck will be exhibiting at booth 636 to present Schöck Isokorb® structural thermal breaks, the solution to free cantilever connections and reducing thermal bridges.

We will also be presenting in the Tuesday March 4th session, titled:  Energy Efficiency – Made in Germany, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Summary: Germany is known around the world for the high standards of its technical and industrial systems and products. The words "Made in Germany" and "German Engineering" invoke thoughts of innovation and dependable quality. This is also true in the fields of energy efficiency technology and energy consulting where Germany has established itself as an international market leader and innovation driver. This workshop will feature a select group of German companies and organizations from the field of energy efficient building technologies and architecture. Speakers include Dr. Kurt Roth, Director Building Energy Technologies at Fraunhofer CSE as well as company representatives from Schöck USA, Schüco USA and Behnisch Architekten.
The event is organized by the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in collaboration with the German Consulate General in Boston and the German American Business Council in Boston. The discounted workshop fee of $75 is made possible by Transatlantic Climate Bridge.
