Creator of Unique Thermal Break Elements Will Showcase U.S. Projects

Schöck, the international developer of innovative building products for thermal insulation, impact sound insulation and reinforcement technology, will be an exhibitor at this year's American Institute of Architects' National Convention and Design Exposition in Denver, Colorado, June 20-22. The AIA National Convention is the leading national event for architects and design professionals. Schöck will be featuring its Isokorb® thermal break element at booth #4043.

Schöck invented the first thermal break technology for use in structural building components, such as concrete and steel cantilevers, more than 25 years ago. Incorporated for its ability to reduce energy loss, Isokorb thermal breaks help meet high-performance goals while providing a load bearing connection at the building envelope.

The technology was introduced to the North American market just last year, and is already being utilized in many sustainable projects in the U.S., including Chelsea Green in New York City, the Life Science Laboratories-University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the Ruth Lilly Visitors Pavilion at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

"We're looking forward to meeting our colleagues in Denver—a city that boasts the most LEED-certified square feet per capita—and discussing our Isokorb line, a key element in enhancing a structure's energy performance and LEED qualification," said Alexander Krenczik, CEO. Krenczik will be joined in Denver by other members of Schöck USA's team, including Adam Kimble, Midwest Sales Manager, Matt Capone, Northeast Sales Manager and Marketing Services Manager Angie Tennyson.
