Schöck North America is looking for an Inside Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey. Our Company is headquartered in Germany with offices throughout the world, including Princeton. Our focus is on the development of ready components which are part of the structural and building physics that have a high value, such as the avoidance of thermal bridges.  

The Inside Sales Support Specialist will provide administrative support to the Engineering and Sales teams, primarily coordinating and processing project inquiries from CRM entry, quotation, ordering, logistics through to final delivery. We are seeking a hands-on, engaging, self-starter who is collegial, professional and enriches the team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Generate and deliver quotations for new client projects
  • Ensure client information is accurately entered in CRM
  • Processing orders, pricing and quantities for production
  • Coordinate production and delivery with logistics supplier
  • Coordinate and manage all communications regarding final delivery of those projects with clients, ensuring on-time arrival
  • Ensure customer satisfaction via a high level of customer service and communication
  • Ensure that the quotation, order and delivery processes are correctly managed in a timely, efficient manner and that each step is communicated well, both internally and externally
  • Support the administrative function in a busy office environment


  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Excel
  • Experience working in a CRM (SAP and Salesforce) a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, to ensure and maintain high standards and accuracy for content entry
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service, both internally and externally
  • Willingness to learn about the company’s product offerings and the innovative building solutions industry
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Organized and efficient task management is paramount to this position

Schöck North America is looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join our team in our Princeton, New Jersey office. Our Company is headquartered in Germany with offices throughout the world, including Princeton. Our focus is on the development of ready components which are part of the structural and building physics that have a high value, such as the avoidance of thermal bridges. 

Required Education/Experience

  • Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Structural Engineering
  • Preferably P.E. or E.I.T. with ability to become a P.E. within a year
  • Commitment to service both internally (supporting Marketing, Sales, Development and Product Management) and externally (Customers)
  • Analytical and problem-solving-based approach to tasks
  • Performing tasks in a solution and customer-oriented way
  • Willingness to gain further education/personal development and skills

Required Skills/Expertise

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, FEM analysis and AutoCAD)
  • Project management know-how
  • Presentation and training skills
  • Ability to develop measures for customer loyalty
  • Cost benefit ratio oriented
  • Ability to work well within a team but also to work independently
  • Fluent communication skills in English, knowledge of French a plus

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with customers via phone, fax or email to offer efficient and clear technical advice
  • Providing efficient technical guidance and assistance to structural engineers, architects, developers and installers regarding Schöck structural elements, as well as to the Sales Team in the field
  • Assuring full satisfaction and technical acceptance by the engineers, architects and installers
  • Elaborating on and suggesting constructive engineering solutions
  • Cooperating with project teams on the development and optimization of our products and their application
  • Providing site assistance when requested

Candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver error-free work and communications, specifically in the area of structural calculations where safety is the first priority
  • Ensure all design/solutions meet Company standards and exceed the expectations of specifiers and users
  • Work on constantly improving our design processes
